Pilot Project on Tuna and Similar Pelagic Fishing in Deep Sea and intends to apply a part of the proceeds of these funds to payments under the contract for the provision of consultancy services

Academic Qualification
• Graduation/Diploma in fishing gear technology or equivalent in related subjects from recognized University/Institution.
• In case of highly experienced in Tuna fishing, Educational Qualification may be relaxed.
Experience
• Experience 15 Years (at least 10 years as Master Fisherman in Tuna Long liner).
• Working in commercial fishing vessel/research vessel will be considered.
• Working in commercial Tuna fishing vessel will be preferred. |

The Department of Fisheries represented by Project Director of Pilot Project on Tuna and Similar Pelagic Fishing in Deep Sea invites eligible applicants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Applicants are invited to provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the said consultancy services. The ToR and scope of services along with Application Forms of the consultants will be available in the “Notice” of website of DoF (www.fisheries.gov.bd). Applicants may obtain further information and collect the ToR along with Application Forms from the office of the undersigned or through the email of the undersigned during office hours (09:00 am - 05:00 pm) on all working days up to January 26, 2022.
Six (06) consultants (03 person for 18 months and another 03 person for 08 months) will be selected following the Selection of Individual Consultants method in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules, 2008. |
