| Brief Description of Assignment |

Local Government Engineering Department is one of the largest public organizations responsible for the implementation of various rural and urban infrastructure projects. These include construction of roads, bridges/culverts, multi-storied buildings like- auditoriums, functional buildings, residential buildings, educational institutes, cyclone shelters, hospitals, markets, memorials and other infrastructures. Presently LGED is implementing many projects throughout the country.
Some of the components of the projects have Architectural requirements in addition to the structural design. In order to assist LGED in preparing Architectural Design and Drawings for the aforementioned structures, it is necessary to engage an Individual Consultant. The present TOR is intended to appoint an Individual Consultant as Structural CAD Operator for the period of 12 months to prepare Architectural & Structural drawings.

| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

1. Participation Expert
• Educational Qualification: Masters in Social Science/Public and Media Relations/Journalism/Relevant discipline from any recognized University of Bangladesh or Equivalent Degree.
• Experience: Should have minimum 10 (Ten) Years experiences in different organization relating to similar assignment
• Should have excellent capacity in development participations, public relations or a related field;
• Capability and proven experience in crafting participation strategies with rural people and implementing them;
• Ability and proven experience in multi-tasking, in taking initiatives and working effectively under pressure.
• Computer proficiency in appropriate software, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and other job responsibility as stated in ToR.
2. AutoCAD Expert
• Educational Qualifications: B.Sc. in Civil Engineering or Equivalent Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering/Architecture from any recognized Institute of Bangladesh or Equivalent Degree/Candidates having Drafting Course in AutoCAD or similar software may also apply.
• Experience: Should have working experience 3 (Three) years for B.Sc. Engineering, 5 (Five) years for Diploma Engineering & 8 (Eight) years for candidates having Drafting Course in different organization relating to similar assignment in relevant fields like 2D, 3D drawing in AutoCAD of Architectural, Structural, Electrical and Plumbing etc.
