| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The main objective of the assignment is to ensure that the project outputs are delivered within the specified project tolerances of time, cost, quality, scope, risk and benefits and is expected to meet the project’s performance and delivery goals. The project management coordinator is expected to do the day-to-day operations of the project(s) and provides services to the client, development partners, other stakeholders and beneficiaries associated with the project. .

| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

The consultant will have MBBS or Master’s degree in social science including public health, health management, or any related field, and at least twenty (20) years of relevant operational work experience in Bangladesh. In addition, s/he should have at least ten (10) years of project management experience in development projects funded by GoB/ADB and/or other international financial institutions, preferably in the health sector. Experience in planning, budgeting, financing, monitoring, coordinating project is required. Experience in developing Procurement strategies and Experience in contract management will be considered as preference. Experience in projects that included procurement of health equipment and consumables is an added advantage. Any Project Management professional certification is preferred. The consultant needs to have demonstrated history of effective coordination and policy dialogue with senior level government officials.
