Shasthyo Suroksha Karmasuchi (SSK) is a social health protection scheme managed by Health Economics Unit (HEU) under direct supervision of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The population living below poverty line (BPL) of Kalihati, Ghatail and Madhupur upazila of Tangail district have been receiving free inpatient healthcare services through this scheme. As of the end of November 2019, out of 81,619 registered BPL households, 12,287 patients of about six thousand households received the benefit of the SSK. Therefore it is important to know the healthcare seeking behavior to improve the access of SSK services among BPL population (SSK cardholders). Hence HEU has decided to conduct a study on healthcare seeking behavior of SSK cardholders. The results of this study will help to review the program including designing the communication materials to improve the access of SSK cardholders for SSK services. |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

To be selected, the organization must have the following:
• Familiarity with the health, nutrition and population sector program
• Extensive expertise on healthcare related exercises
• Proven ability to manage and conduct large data set
• Expertise in use of STATA/SPSS statistical software for data analysis
• Proven expertise in quality report writing & policy recommendations in English
