| Brief Description of Assignment |

Government of Bangladesh has decided to launch its next satellite(s) after Bangabandhu Satellite-1. To initiate that, BCSCL organized a daylong seminar with the users of satellite services in Bangladesh to discuss their expectations from the next satellite(s). After several round of discussions with the stakeholders, the list of services that the next satellite(s) are expected to provide was finalized. The Consulting Firm shall determine the type of satellite(s) that will be needed to provide the services mentioned in the list, taking into consideration the pros and cons ofBS-1. The Consulting Firm shall also conduct a feasibility study to determine the commercial viability of the satellite(s) selected in the previous step

EOI is invited from eligible International Consulting Firms which have required expertise and experience in the above-mentioned area. This firm is required to have:
• At least 5 (Five) years experience of providing consulting services forsimilar services as stated in the title.
• Experience in international arena (that is other than own country).
• Appropriate number of key professionals having minimum graduate degree with expertise in the relevant fields to carry out the proposed consulting services and shall furnish the list of key professionals and their CVs with photographs. |

i) Short listing will be made in accordance with the “Rule-115 of Public Procurement Rule (PPR)-2008”
ii) EOI should include the following information:
1) Company profile supported by brochures;
2)Related experiences of the firm in accordance with the requirements as mentioned above;
3) Audited balance sheets and income statements for the last 3 (Three) years to demonstrate the current soundness of the applicant’s financial position and its prospective long-term profitability;
4) Work Plan and methodology to conduct the proposed assignment.
iii) EOI as well as attached forms/supporting documents shall be written in English. Document originally written in other than English should be translated into English and attached to the copy of original duly attested by competent authority.
iv) EOI notice and forms of Expression of Interest are posted on BCSCL website: http://www.bcscl.com.bd and CPTU website: www.cptu.gov.bd and hard copy of the same are available from the office in the address given below.
v) Three (3) signed copies of EOI along with 1 (one) original shall be submitted in a sealed envelope mentioning “Selection of International Consultancy Firm to determine the Type and Functionalities of Next Satellite(s) of BCSCL.” on top of the sealed envelope and shall be submitted to the following address before above mentioned date and time. |
