| Brief Description of Assignment |

The prime objective of the assignment is to prepare a comprehensive guideline for the exploration and development of conventional and unconventional hydrocarbon resources by the following scope of services:
• Undertake initiative for improvement of exploration, appraisal and field development processes of BAPEX considering the E&P industry best practice.
• Provide expertise support to finalize Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), which is applicable for E&P operations for both conventional and unconventional hydrocarbons exploration and production.

General Qualification Criteria for Individual Consultant:
• Minimum M.Sc. degree in Geology/Geo-science/Geophysics from a recognized university.
• Minimum 20 years of relevant experience mentioned in the Brief Description of Assignment.
• The Individual Consultant should demonstrate one’s expertise clearly in the CV at least 70% of the prime objective of the assignment.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Exploration and Field Development in the Bengal Basin.
• Minimum 10 years of experience with International Oil and Gas Companies.
• Minimum 5 years of Overseas Experience.
• Should have formal and informal (on the job) training in the related field.
• Should have experience in Regional Geological Evaluation, Play and Prospect Evaluation and Maturation, Sequence Stratigraphy, Development Geology, Unconventional Resource Exploitation and Geological Modeling in the Bengal Basin.
• Should have experience in mentoring Junior Geologists.

the website: www.bapex.com.bd 2. Detailed Terms of References (TOR) along with
clarification of qualification criteria will be available upon request either through
e-mail or in person from the address provided below.
3. The short listed candidates will be invited for interview before selection.
4. The Individual Consultant will be selected in accordance with the guidelines of
PPR-2008.
