| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
Development, Management, Operation and Maintenance of a theme park near Padma Multipurpose Bridge Project on Build, Own, Operate and Transfer (BOOT) Basis. Area of the proposed theme park is 80 acres approx., located on the Janjira side (in the South Bank of Padma River, Mouja- Naodoba, Upazila- Janjira, Dist.- Shariatpur) of under construction Padma Bridge near Service Area-2.
In addition, the developer will also require to develop, manage, operate & maintain an Eco-Park over a Char Area (for Winter Season only) in the middle of the Padma River having an area of 200 acres approx. |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

a) Background of the developer firm(s) with general and overall experience including company’s brochure(s);
b) Information on and references from previous projects undertaken by the respondent’s team involving such operations, preferably during the last 20 (twenty) years. This shall be supported by authenticated certificate issued by the competent concerned authority.
c) Availability of resource and demonstration of capacity to carry out such assignment.
d) Company’s incorporation certificate, trade license, VAT registration certificate, Income Tax certificate, Bank solvency certificate, audit report/turn over report of the company for the last three years.
Note: The selected developer may need to be registered with the Competent Authority of Bangladesh as per prevailing Law. |

Submission of EoI should be in hard bound form bearing the name and address of the EoI no. & date and be addressed to the EoI issuing Authority. The EoI shall be submitted in one original and one copy, duly marked as “ORIGINAL” and/or “COPY”, in two separate sealed envelopes. Both these envelopes shall then be placed in a cover envelope duly marking the name and address of the EoI no. & date and be addressed to the EoI issuing Authority. The page no. of the EoI shall be marked serially on every page. In the event of any discrepancy between the original and the copies, the original shall prevail.
The EoIs submitted either in loose form or spiral binding shall not be entertained.
Association with other Firm(s):
a) Interested firms may associate with other firms (Domestic or International) to enhance their qualifications but should mention whether the association is in the form of “Joint Venture (JV)” or “Sub-Contractor/Sub-Consultancy”. In case of association with other firm(s) all members of such “association” shall have real and well defined input of assignment.
b) In case of JV, lead partner must have developed at least 01 (one) similar Park within the last 20 years.
c) In addition to the above the JV shall have to comply with the experience as regards to management, operation and maintenance of such facility collectively.
d) The experience of the “sub-contractors/sub-consultants: will not be considered for evaluation.
e) Not more than three joint venture partners (including the lead partner) shall be allowed to form a JV for submission of their interest under this EoI.
f) In case of JV the authorized representative shall be from the lead partner.
Facilities and Consultation:
a) Interest firms for visiting proposed Theme Park area are requested to communicate with Project Director, PMBP.
b) There will be a discussion meeting on 05-11-2019 at 10:30AM at Setu Bhaban, BBA's conference room with the Interested parties. |
