| Brief Description of Assignment |

The objective of the assignment is to prepare sector action plan on Agriculture to provide a comprehensive picture of sectoral goals, performances, opportunities, challenges, and above all identify policies and strategies with elaborate actions and tentative budget that support the up-coming Eighth Five Year Plan and visions of the government. This Plan will provide the framework for the identification of public policy initiatives and projects for the public sectors intervention, including the role of government agencies in developing the sector action plan in partnership with other government institutions, private sector, development partners, local government bodies and non-government organizations. |

The consulting firm shall have experience in having successfully completed at least two similar type of assignments to government/semi- government/ autonomous bodies during the last five years. The team proposed by the consulting firm shall be composed of mixed pool of experts in the related fields. Detailed may be seen at ToR. |
