| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
? Evaluate the current scenarios of analogue & digital terrestrial networks and develop the plan for transition of existing transmitting stations.
? To Survey the whole country and recommend the new location of transmitting location, Digital Tx power and antenna direction for transition from analogue to digital broadcasting transmission networks within the boarder.
? To survey the existing 16 transmitting location i.e environment, power system, transmitting tower conditions (if needed balancing possibility), TX power, local channel insertion process & way etc.
? Create a workflow for digital terrestrial broadcasting regarding Roadmap and latest technological transmission standards.
? Prepare a guideline to implement mobile TV, portable reception in DTTB network.
? Elaborate the role of implementing digital broadcasting, e.g. Frequencies Managing, the impact of transition (A to D), switchover process etc.
? Prepare a spectrum planning table for DTTB with the help of simulation software considering the neighbouring countries spectrum planning.
? To recommend the appropriate standard & combination of digital transmission with respect to the building pattern of Bangladesh, socio economic status of the people etc.
? Economic Issues- how Digital migration can contribute to socio economic factors, unexpected risks & mitigation process etc.
? Human resource capacity, training and development regarding Technology and standards
? The detailed assignment of this project will be elaborated in RFP Document. |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

? The Consulting firm shall have minimum 7(Seven) years general experience in the field of digital broadcasting technology i.e. implementation, analysis and simulation.
? Team leader of the Consulting firm shall have educational qualification in broadcast technology related discipline.
? Team leader shall have specific experience of completion of at least 01 (One) Assignment in the last 07 (Seven) years in the field of Digital Terrestrial Television Broadcasting (DTTB) system.
? Firm(s) names, address, e-mail, Fax & Legal commercial documents (Trade License / Tax Payer Certificate / Certificate of Incorporation /Audit Report).
? Availability of appropriate skills among professional staff details.
? Summary of experience of the firm(s) in similar assignments.
? History of litigation in courts or any arbitration proceedings shall be declared.
? Availability of resources and demonstration capacity of handling such assignment. List of necessary equipment, software, accessories and skill manpower shall be enclosed. |
