| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
1. Package-SD-08 (4 nos. CMQC)
The Firm will be contracted for providing Construction Management & Quality Control Expert (CMQC) as follows to assist in smooth implementation of the project.
Responsibilities of CMQC
Assist PMU/PIU in quality control of the works and in monitoring overall physical and financial progress of construction works in division level.
2. Package-SD-07 (4 nos. IDS)
The Firm will be contracted for providing Institutional Development Specialist (IDS) to assist in smooth implementation of the project in division level.
Responsibilities of IDS
Assist PMU/PIU in finalization of pre-screening subprojects, reviewing of FR and PRA-FS reports, site validation and in preparation of ID-Aps.
Support District PIU in social mobilization, strengthen existing/new WMCAs, monitoring and reporting the activities of WMCAs

5. Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) now invites eligible firms to show their interest in providing the services of CMQC (Package-SD-07, 4 nos. CMQC) and in providing the service of IDS (Package-SD-08, 4nos. IDS). Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services.
The EOIs would be reviewed on the basis of the following: (Submission of EOI as per “Form-A” and ‘’ Short TOR” which is available in http://www.lged.gov.bd/Procurment.aspx?ProcurmentType=4 this Link)
3. Consultants may associate with other firms to enhance their qualifications, and, if association, should mention whether the association is in the form of “joint venture” or “sub-consultancy”. In the form JV the number of the firms should be two including Lead firm.
4. A consulting firm will be selected in accordance with the Selection of Fixed Budget System (FBS) procedures as set out in Standard Documents according to PPR-2008. Interested firms may obtain further information at the address below during office hours. A shortlist of firms will be prepared, from the expressions of interest, for requesting proposals for this assignment.
5. 1 (One) Original and 1 (One) copy, total 2 (two) numbers for each package of EOI shall be submitted separately in a sealed envelope through Registered post, or delivered by hand, subscribing of “ Services of Construction Management & Quality Control Expert’’ (Package-Sd 8) and “Institutional Development Specialist”(Package-SD 7) for Small Scale Water Resources Development Project (Phase-2) (SSWRDP-2) |
