| Brief Description of Assignment |

(a) Pest Risk Analysis (PRA) provides the rationale for phytosanitary measures for a specified PRA area. It evaluates scientific evidence to determine whether an organism is a pest. If so, the analysis evaluates the probability of introduction and spread of the pest and the magnitude of potential economic consequences in a defined area, using biological or other scientific and economic evidences as mentioned in Terms of References (TOR). There are three types of PRA and this is a Pest PRA. As the basis of this PRA is a Pest PRA so, all possible pathways for the pest are needed to be considered.

(i) The consulting firm should have minimum 5 years professional experience in the relevant field or experience in conduction at least two PRA. (ii) The firm should have experience in setting up traps, data collection and interpretation. (iii) Should have experience in conducting Survey and Surveillance. (iv) Should have specialists in Entomology, Economics and Statistics. (v) Specialists in ecology, epidemiology & botany will be given preference. (vi) Consulting firms can submit EOI for one or both lot separately. |

Interested consulting Firms are invited to provide update information indicating that they are qualified to perform those Services, which are: (i) Brochures (ii) description of similar assignments (iii) experience in similar operating conditions (iv) available of appropriate professional qualification and experience among applicant staff to carry out the assignments (v) administrative strength and financial capability etc. one original with one Duplicate copy of EOI lot wise should be submitted in sealed envelope and deliver to undersigned marked with Request for Expression of Interest at the top of the envelope. |
