| Brief Description of Assignment |

The main objective is to procure Consultancy Services to prepare the detailed Master Plan with 3D view, Topography survey, Soil test, Review of Design/Drawing of Structures and Other related works such as walkway, Bank protection, RCC walkway on pile, RCC walkway on ground, RCC walkway over river bank, RCC walkway over embankment, RCC Quay wall, Eco-Park ,RCC Foreshore Pillar ,RCC Steps, RCC Jetty, Spud ,Boundary Wall etc and Construction supervision for the project.
The Total Duration of the Consultancy Services Will be 36 (Thirty Six) month. Following are the specific objectives of the consultancy services but not limited to:
i) Detail Survey at proposed project area Cadastral surveys/ Topographic surveys, Geotechnical surveys, Bathymetric survey, Social and Environmental survey including preparation action plan of Foreshore land and other survey as required.
ii) Review the initial Feasibility study report, Verify the survey and design, updating of design and working drawings,
iii) Preparation of detail cost estimate, Standard Tender Document (STD), BoQ for each package as per DPP.
iv) The consultancy services envisage alignment of walkway in the site, selection of landing facilities with road linkage, review of the design of walkway, bank protection, Quay wall, RCC jetty, spuds, steps, boundary wall as per site condition;
v) Fixation of RCC jetty/RCC steps for loading/unloading of vessel;
vi) verification of contractors’ detailed construction environmental health and safety (EHS) plans as per the EMP;
vii) Review and Approve contractor's quality management plan, work program, method statements, material sources, manpower and equipment deployment, construction EHS plans, etc.;
viii) Prepare standard formats for recording site records and reporting purpose;
ix) Review and finalize the design/drawing as per site requirement as well as preparation of new drawing;
x) Conduct regular site meetings to discuss issues and problems affecting the progress, keep minutes and report the employer accordingly;
xi) Ensure that the all activities and sites including spoil disposal, quarry, borrow, material crushing, material stockpiling, compaction etc are operated and reinstated according to the IEE /ESIA, EMP and contractors’ detailed construction EHS plan requirements;
xii) Supervision of Construction works as per drawing, design, BOQ etc.;

The Firm is expected to have experience in designing different types of water related civil structure etc. The Consulting Firm should have 10 years experience in various types of civil Engineering Consultancy works but preference will be given to the Firm(s) who have experience in doing similar types of works.
The Consulting Firm needs to deploy following experts and supporting staff :
i) Team Leader; ii) Structure Engineer, iii)Survey Engineer/Experts, iv Material/ Quality Control Engineer (QCE), v) Land record Specialist vi) Procurement Specialist, vii) Resident Engineer (RE), viii) Architect; ix) Environmental Safeguard Specialist (ES), x) Site Engineer (S, Eng), xi) Auto CAD Specialist etc.

Duration of the work will be 36 (thirty six) months. BIWTA now invites eligible Firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Firms are invited to provide information and documents (brochures, description of similar assignments, experiences, organogram/Manpower set-up of the firm, Financial Capacity (Audit report, turnover etc), qualification and experience of all experts and staff, trade license, VAT, income tax certificate etc.) indicating that they are qualified to perform the services.
