The main assignment of the firm would be to submit a study report based on multi-dimensional survey on SMEs of Bangladesh. | Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

Firms for this assignment should fit the following profile: The firm should have minimum 15 (Fifteen) years of experience in the field of similar nature study/research/survey. It Should have the experience of handling a large number of projects under Government, Semi-Government, Private Sector and Donor Agencies. The sectors in which the firm has to have the experience of carrying out projects are: (i) Agriculture; (ii) Macro Economic Analysis and Management; (iii) Socio-Economic studies; (iv) Industries; (v) Rural Development; (vi) Human Resources Development (Education, Health, and Population); (vii) Water Resources. It should have experience of conducting Evaluation Studies and Impact Evaluation Studies in most of these sectors. The Firm having work experience with the Government of Bangladesh in terms of policy issues will be given priority. Firm having highly skilled management and staff members/associates will be given priority. The firm should be adept in using sophisticated programming tools such as CSpro, STATA, SPSS and other relevant statistical software rigorously for the survey and research purpose The consultant team members must be nationally recognized in their field of expertise with considerable international recognition. The lead consultant should have a post graduate degree in Economics, Industrial Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Production / Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant discipline.
