| Brief Description of Assignment |

The Narsingdi Palli Bidyut Samity-2 service area consists of 5 Upazilas of Narsingdi District (Narsingdi Sadar-Part, Shibpur, Monohardi, Belabo, Raipura) and 3 of Kishoregonj District (Bhairab(Part), Kuliarchar(Part), Bazitpur(Part)). The objective of the PBS is to provide electric power and energy to each village located within its geographical / service area for irrigation pumping, food processing, cottage industries and other small or big industries, commercial centers, health and social services and family dwellings. This objective is to be achieved through the Area Coverage Rural Electrification (ACRE) concept by constructing, operating and maintaining lines up to 33 KV, extending lines from existing distribution system. Each potential consumer within the PBS service area may become a member of the PBS, the membership being obtained by application and payment of nominal subscription fee. Providing electric power and energy to its consumer-members at the lowest cost possible consistent with sound economy and good management is a prime prerequisite of the PBS.

1. The Consulting Firms should have a full competent of staff that will be capable of doing the Electrical Consulting services of distribution system. 2. The firm must have financial capability to handle the services of the similar activities and turn over of similar activities are at least 05 lakhs in last 05 (Five) years.
3. Narsingdi Palli Bidyut Samity-2 now invites expression of Interest (EOI) from eligible Consulting firm / Consortia (National) for PBS to indicate their interests in providing the services. Interested consulting firms must provide following information:
