To promote planned development at Maheshkhali Upazila and enacting necessary policies for land use control. Local Government Division will be prepared a Master Plan for Maheshkhali Upazila of Cox’s Bazar District with the following components:
(a) Strategic Policy Plan
(b) Landuse Plan
(c) Sectoral Plan
i) Transportation Plan
ii) Drainage and Environmental Management Plan, and
iii) Utility & Socio-economic Infrastructure Plan
