Selling Tender Document (Principal)

The Bidding Document, in English Language, may be purchased by the interested Bidders on Submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of non-refundable fee of USD 100.00 (In words: US Dollar One Hundred Only) or equivalent BDT 11,500.00 (In words: Bangladeshi Taka Eleven Thousand Five Hundred, including VAT Only). The method of payment will be in the form of Demand Draft or Pay Order in favor of Dhaka Electric Supply Company Limited (DESCO) for each Bidding Document. The document will be sent by hand to the Bidder or their representative. The document may be sent surface mail or courier service. Interested Bidders who are requesting international courier dispatch should pay an additional fee of USD 100.00 (In words: US Dollar One Hundred Only) or equivalent BDT 11,500.00 (In words: Bangladeshi Taka Eleven Thousand Five Hundred including VAT Only). No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery. Bidding Document will be available at Project Director Office in all working days from the dates shown in the following table. No Bidding Document will be sold on the day fixed for opening of bids. |

Only Eligible Bidders with the following key qualification should participate in this bidding: who have successful completion as main Supplier/Manufacturer within the last 07 (Seven) years, of at least 02 (two) contracts each valued at USD 500,000.00 (In words: US Dollar. five hundred thousand) or equivalent for Transformer Protection Equipment and Capacitor Bank & accessories with nature, and complexity similar to the scope of supply described in Section 6 (Schedule of Supply).
