Selling Tender Document (Principal)

The Bidding Document, in English Language, may be purchased by the interested Bidders on Submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of non-refundable fee of USD 100.00 (One Hundred US Dollar) or equivalent Bangladeshi Tk 11,500.00 (Eleven Thousand Five Hundred Taka, including VAT). The method of payment will be in the form of Demand Draft or Pay Order in favor of Dhaka Electric Supply Company Ltd. (DESCO) for each Bidding Document. The document will be sent by hand to the Bidder or their representative. The document may be sent surface mail or courier service. Interested Bidders who are requesting international courier dispatch should pay an additional fee of USD 100.00 (One Hundred US Dollar) or equivalent Bangladeshi Tk 11,500.00 (Eleven Thousand Five Hundred Taka) only. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery. Bidding Document will be available at Project Director Office in all working days from the dates shown in the following table. No Bidding Document will be sold on the day fixed for opening of bids. |

Open competitive bidding (international advertisement) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage Two-Envelop bidding procedure and is open to all eligible bidders as described in the Bidding Document. Only Eligible Bidders with the following key qualification should participate in this bidding: who have successful completion as main supplier within the last 07 (Seven) years, of at least 02 (two) contracts each valued at USD 13,500,000.00 (In Words: US Dollar Thirteen Million Five Hundred Thousand) or equivalent for 33kV XLPE, 1-Core, 500 Sq. mm Underground Copper Cables or higher current rating of the same voltage level & 11kV XLPE, 3-Core, 300 Sq. mm Underground Copper Cables or higher current rating of the same voltage level with nature, and complexity similar to the scope of supply described in Section 6 (Schedule of Supply).
