INFORMATION FOR TENDERER

| Eligibility of Tenderer : |

The invitation for tender is open to all eligible tenderers as mentioned below-
i) The maximum 3 (three) number of arbitrations against the Tenderer over a period of 5 (five) years.
ii) The Tenderer shall have a minimum 20 (Twenty) years of overall experience in the shipbuilding. Years counting backward from the date of publication of IFT in the newspaper.
iii) The minimum specific experience of successfully completion as a builder of at least 2 (Two) nos. self-propelled class vessel/ coastal class Pilot Vessels/ coastal class Passenger Vessels/ coastal class Cruise Vessels within the last 5 (Five) years under supervision of International Classification Society (member of IACS).
iv) Single contract value of self-propelled class vessel should be at least BDT 1570.00 million or USD 18.80 million within the last 5 (Five) years.
v) The Tenderer shall have minimum experience in the supply/ production capacity of at least 2 (Two) nos. self-propelled class vessel/ coastal class Pilot Vessels/ coastal class Passenger Vessels/ coastal class Cruise Vessels within the last 5 (Five) years under supervision of International Classification Society (member of IACS).
vi) The offered pilot mother vessel shall be built on “proven design” of coastal class pilot vessel/ coastal class passenger vessel/ coastal class cruise vessel/ coastal class passenger ferry. Related end user list with their information & IMO number of the coastal class pilot vessel/ coastal class passenger vessel/ coastal class cruise vessel/ coastal class passenger ferry, already built on the proven design, must be submitted with tender.
vii) Supporting documents shall have to be submitted by the tenderer, without which the tender shall be rejected. Complete and authentic documents must be submitted, failing which the tender shall be considered as non-responsive.
viii) The minimum amount of liquid asset or working capital substantiated by audit report or credit facility substantiated in the format as specified of the Tenderer shall be BDT 2850.00 million or USD 33.29 million. |
