INFORMATION FOR TENDERER

| Eligibility of Tenderer : |

The invitation for tender is open to all eligible tenderers as mentioned below-
i) The maximum 3 (three) number of arbitrations against the Tenderer over a period of 5 (five) years.
ii) The Tenderer shall have a minimum 20 (Twenty) years of overall experience in the shipbuilding. Years counting backward from the date of publication of IFT in the newspaper.
iii) The minimum specific experience of successfully completion as a builder of at least 2 (Two) nos. coastal going Survey Vessels/ Research Vessels/ Survey & Research Vessels (greater than 24.00 m) under International Classification Society (member of IACS) within the last 5 (Five) years.
iv) Single contract value of self-propelled class vessel should be at least BDT 908.00 million or USD 10.87 million within the last 5 (Five) years.
v) The offered survey & research vessel shall be built on proven design. Related end user list with IMO number/ buyer certificate of the Survey Vessel/ Research Vessel/ Survey & Research Vessel already built on the offered Proven Design must be submitted with tender.
vi) Supporting documents shall have to be submitted by the tenderer, without which the tender shall be rejected. Complete and authentic documents must be submitted, failing which the tender shall be considered as non-responsive.
vii) The minimum amount of liquid asset or working capital substantiated by audit report or credit facility substantiated in the format as specified (Form PG4-6A) of the Tenderer shall be BDT 1248.00 million or USD 14.95 million.
viii) If the Tenderer submits credit facility, the decision of Board of Directors of the bank regarding allocation of CC limit has to be submitted with the offer
ix) The amount of the Tender Security shall be BDT 22.70 million only in favour of Project Director, Mongla Port Authority in the form of Pay-order /Bank Guarantee from any scheduled bank of Bangladesh
x) In case of foreign bidder, Tender Security shall be USD 0.27 million in favour of Project Director, Mongla Port Authority and in form of Bank Guarantee issued by an internationally reputable bank and be endorsed by any correspondent bank located in Bangladesh, to make it enforceable.
